Hello,
We are looking to bring on a couple more employees at our Indian restaurant. Currently, we are looking for a server/front-of-the-house and a dishwasher/general cleaner.
We mostly need help on weekend (Friday-Sunday) evenings and some weekdays. We can offer about 8 hours per week, with more during the busier season.
We will pay $16/hour to start, with shared tips.
The server will have the following responsibilities:
-Seat, take orders, assist with order preparation.
-Serve drinks and food to tables.
-Take payments with our POS system.
-Bus and clean dining tables, as needed.
-Restock drinks, food containers, etc.
-Some cleaning and other simple tasks.
The dishwasher will be responsible for:
-Cleaning/sanitizing and putting away dishes, pots, pans, etc.
-Bus and clean dining tables, as needed.
-Take out trash.
-Sweep and mop, and other cleaning.
-Occasional food prep.
Server requirements:
-6+ months of experience in food service
-Must have a food handler card, or be willing to get one (we will pay for the certification).
-Must be over 18 years old.
-Must be friendly and approachable.
Dishwasher requirements:
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Must have a food handler card, or be willing to get one (we will pay for the certification).
-Must be self-motivated and reliable.
