Accountemps is actively searching for an entry-level Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for data entry, financial statement review, and Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation. You will report to the Accounting Manager and be part of a dynamic team with an opportunity for career growth. Key responsibilities
- Facilitating full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts
- Executing other related duties and partaking in special projects as assigned
- Researching and rectifying account discrepancies
- Facilitating audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits
- Make monthly journal entries
- Perform data entry
Requirements:
- Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
- High attention to detail
- Excellent data entry skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred
- Financial statement preparation experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of expense reports
- Deep understanding of accounts payable
- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
