Part-Time Bookkeeper / Financial Manager (Cayucos)

Hey there! I’m the owner of Cayucos Handy Services, a local Cayucos company that's been growing fast. We're changing the definition of a handyman – offering a premium service that's not only reliable but also safe, professional, and super easy to work with. We specialize in small and odd jobs, helping our community where they need it most. We also volunteer 10 hours free handyman services per month.

We’ve only been at it for 5 months, but with 8 employees and more work coming in every day, it’s time to bring someone on board to help us manage the money side of things.

I'm looking for someone to help track expenses, manage payroll, and keep us profitable as we expand. This would start out as a 1099 position, working around 20-30 hours a week, with the possibility to move to W-2 as we grow.

What we need:

Someone who’s comfortable jumping into a fast-growing business

Experience with bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, and tracking expenses

Familiarity with Xero or Quickbooks.

Able to give me insights into where we can save or improve efficiency

Pay is dependent on experience, no experience necessary to apply. This position is remote but you must reside in the area of Cayucos, Morro Bay, Los Osos, Cambria, SLO, or Atascadero.
