Creekside Pet Boarding in Arroyo Grande is accepting applications for a part-time position with our company. Experience in the pet care industry is helpful, but not mandatory. We board dogs, cats, and other family pets as well as supervise daily doggy daycare. All employees must complete a comprehensive pet care technician certification. Loving care for animals is essential and extraordinary customer service is our goal. Duties may include, but are not limited to: supervising and evaluating dog play, kennel cleaning with pet safe disinfectants, feeding, washing dishes, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of kennels, a garage, a cattery building, and 22 dog play yards. Computer and excellent phone skills are necessary.
Other duties may include occasional painting, fence repairs, basic dog bathing, and other projects as the need arises. This is hard, outdoor work and applicants must be fit enough to control strong leash pulling from dogs well over one hundred pounds.
