UCP of San Luis Obispo County is seeking Summer Camp Counselors for our upcoming 2025 Camp Kelley Creek that will take place from Sunday, August 17, 2025 to Friday, August 22, 2025. We are actively searching for individuals who are enthusiastic, energetic, and are passionate about supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The camp will be held at a residential camp at Camp Arroyo Grande in Arroyo Grande, CA. Please note that camp counselors will reside at the camp for the duration of the camp.
The job functions of these counselors include but aren’t limited to:
Supervising a small group of individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the daily coordinated activities
Ensuring the safety of all camp participants by being vigilant and aware of the camp participants.
Qualifications:
Positive Outlook & Attitude
Willingness to assist individuals
Wiling to work as part of a team
Previous camp experience is helpful
