With us, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Earn excellent pay instructing students in a group lesson setting at various public schools on drums and ukulele.
- Guide and manage groups of students from TK-K and 1st-3rd grade.
- Develop effective classroom control techniques.
- Demonstrate musical techniques and concepts with confidence and skill, while making lessons fun for students.
- Design creative lesson plans that engage students and establish clear learning goals.
- Prepare students for a rewarding chance to showcase their newfound musical skills through recitals and performances.
To join our team, we require:
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability for daytime-afternoon classes on weekdays.
- Participation in training sessions and staff meetings.
- Consistent communication through email, text, and phone.
- Successful completion of a Livescan DOJ/FBI background check and TB test.
- Become a part of Musical Minds Academy and help shape the next generation of musicians!
Compensation: $200/day for teaching hours. Training sessions and other non- instructional responsibilities will be paid at $25/hour.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:30 to 5:00 P.M.
Experience: At least (2) years of prior teaching experience required.
Note: Experience in special education, childhood development, preschool, early childhood education, behavior management, tutoring is a plus, but not required.
