TEN OVER STUDIO is seeking a full-time Landscape Designer to join our team. We are looking for an awesome person to provide creative design elements to complex projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with drafting, project file maintenance and research. This role is intended to be career development focused, emphasizing growth in design and management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce accurate Land FX and CAD drawings
Develop organized SketchUp models and prepare design presentations in InDesign
Assist with contract and proposal writing
Lead technical design aspects of moderate to large projects
Develop project programs
Attend Client, Agency and Consultant meetings
Coordinate construction details, document reviews, bid requests and agency submittals
Produce inspired and thoughtful landscape designs for small to large projects
Familiar with the unique design techniques used for various project types
Produce appropriate planting designs for the project type, programmatic use and climate
Produce irrigation plans for small to large projects
Ability to evaluate project needs, open and upcoming tasks and deadlines
Demonstrate strong initiative and drive with regard to project goals and deadlines
REQUIREMENTS
Current knowledge of professional codes, laws, computer applications and trends
Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture
Proficient in LandFX, AutoCAD, Sketchup, InDesign and Microsoft Office
5+ years’ experience
