Pianetta Winery, a small, family owned winery, is seeking a tasting room assistant manager.
The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, enthusiastic, and who takes initiative.
Someone who is professionally minded and has an interest in the Wine
Industry. Outgoing and sales driven, that can create a positive experience for club members and guests.
We are a small team and value input from all our team members in a collaborative
environment. We can train and introduce the proper candidate to our story, history,
wines, winemaking style, and overall goals for the atmosphere we present.
Main responsibilities are to oversee the day to day operations including:
Train and supervise tasting room employees. (We will train ideal candidates regarding our management style and protocols)
Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of our wines and winery
Scheduling shifts
Maintaining sales and inventory reports
Data entry
Club, shipment, and email management
Event management
Updating, adding to, and editing OrderPort
Professionally handling customer concerns
Working with Canva or other design software while adhering to our brand style
Creating sales strategies for membership gains and reaching sales goals
Other responsibilities:
Host guests and club members and maintain focus on sales goals
Schedule appointments as requested via email or telephone
Positively and enthusiastically share our brand story
Participate in special events
Follow and execute daily operating procedures such as inventory, sales reporting,
scheduling etc.
Complete tasks in a timely manner and adhere to a scheduled work plan
Greet all customers and poor wines for tasting
Provide general tourist information
Stocking retail items and wines
General house keeping
Process order requests
Other duties assigned by lead personnel
Requirements and expectations:

Website editing (WIX and software items)
Strong organization skills
Ability to troubleshoot and complete maintenance tasks
Learning our POS system, order port, and other software
Professionalism with customers and associates
Ability to work with others
Acquire a knowledge of wines
Professional appearance
Excellent communication skills
Lift and carry 45lbs
Stand for long periods of time
Work weekends
Must be 21 years of age or older
