The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing exemplary service in the Restaurant, attending and servicing the Restaurant, outside patio and banquets areas. The upscale yet casual setting is intended to promote an environment of casual elegance in setting and atmosphere that exudes genuine care and heartfelt service. Responsible for set up and break down of restaurant and bar or banquet area. Providing an unforgettable experience from the first point of guest contact to the departing farewell. Engaging with guests, anticipating their needs and taking initiative to improve their stay will be focus areas for the Cello Server.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1) Provide exemplary food & beverage service to guests at Cello Ristorante & Bar.
2) Proven ability to engage and connect with guests as they are seated, offering unique dining experience head above the rest.
3) Strong knowledge and experience of both food & wine.
4) Remain knowledgeable of all menu items with the ability to offer assistance and suggestions to guests who are dining.
5) Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner.
6) Carry trays, bus, and set tables including linens and flatware according to standards.
7) Complete opening and closing side work.
8) Ring up sales, print and close checks.
9) Identify guests by name.
10) Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor while constantly remaining alert to guests’ needs and desires while dining in the restaurant.
11) Personally handle guest concerns and complaints whenever possible, deferring to the manager/supervisor on-duty when necessary.
