PART TIME BARTENDERS

As a Part Time Bartender, you'll be responsible for setting-up the bar area, preparing and mixing beverages, serving Members, their guests and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area.

JOB DUTIES

Check identification to see if they are Members and guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.

Operate cash register and receive payment from members in cash or credit card, and accurately count and provide change to customers when applicable.

Monitor the intake of alcohol of Members and guests, prohibiting the sale to those who are impaired.

Operate in compliance with federal, state and local law requirements for serving alcohol.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as ordered, in a timely manner and in compliance with the Lodge standards.

Perform shift opening and closing duties as directed.

Clean, sanitize and maintain bar area including counters and equipment.

Prepare garnishes, stock, as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED

Previous bartender experience, LEAD (ABC) Certificate a must. Food handlers certificate a plus.

Must be at least 21 years of age

Ability to stand, walk and move around during entire shift.

Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money.

Position Summary:

You will be responsible for providing timely and accurate service to Members and guests with enthusiasm and positivity. You are innovative in creating a friendly guest service experience, striving to exceed Member’s needs and expectations during their visit. The bartender has ample experience in preparing the beverages and represents the establishment through the ability to make accurate recommendations when necessary. Opening and closing of the Lodge and Bar are your responsibility and will be explained to you.

Responsibilities of the Bartender:

Attentively take beverage orders from members, efficiently preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Members expectations.

Accurately record drink orders and enter orders into the register system, in addition to accepting and recording member payment, charges, and making change.

Organize, maintain bottles and glasses, and restock bar inventory in an aesthetically pleasing, functional manner to promote beverages and support efficient drink preparation.

Maintain organization and cleanliness of bar area, including tables, counters, floors, sinks, utensils, shelves, glassware, and storage areas.

Maintain open communication with the bar manager, being readily available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the bar.

Actively report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to bar manager.

Adhere to all Lodge policies and procedures throughout the execution of tasks and responsibilities.

Number one sustain the Safety of the Lodge though risk-management behavior, proper inspections, participation in Safety knowledge of emergency procedures.

Following Safety procedures as your role is defined.

Physical Requirements:

The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors and members a normal in-person and phone conversation

Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel

Ascend and descend a ladder
