Bijou Bakery is looking to fill part time customer service positions. 2-3 shifts per week. We have immediate positions available, as well as positions that we would like to start beginning of May.
Bijou Bakery is a French inspired bakery and cafe with a focus on breakfast pastries, espresso drinks, quiche and other select hot food items. All menu items are baked in house. Our hours are 7am-1pm daily. We are located on the beautiful grounds of the historic Cass House in the heart of Cayucos near the Cayucos Pier and beach. We offer counter service, and our guests may enjoy their items in our spacious, covered, open air pavilion.
This is a fun, rewarding job in a very positive, uplifting environment. It is also fast paced, demanding, and very physical.
Job details include:
Front counter customer service, packaging product, register, stocking the pastry case, helping with all opening and closing duties. Barista and some light baking experience is appreciated. You must be able to stand for 8 hours a day and lift 50lbs. All employees are required to walk up and down steps, deliver food items to our seating area about 50ft from the facility. Bending, twisting, reaching, lifting are all movements you can expect throughout your shifts. We like to cross train our staff, so if you do not have any barista or baking experience, you will learn!
