YOUR ROLE: As an On Call Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the ballroom kitchen. You are dedicated to keeping the dish area and equipment clean and organized through a detail-oriented personality and a willingness to assist coworkers as needed. You work towards a smooth and efficient operation of your tasks, using machines and clean methods as indicated. The dishwasher must be able to work in hot, wet, humid, and/or loud environments, in addition to being able to stand for long periods of times. The dishwasher must be able to physically lift, reach, bend, and stoop when required.

YOUR WORK DAY:

Efficiently load, run, and unload dish machine.

Maintain the cleanliness of the dish machine and promptly report any functional or mechanical problems.

Monitor dish machine to ensure water temperature and sanitary measure have been met during wash cycles.

Organize and store all clean tableware and kitchenware, confirming adequate levels of clean supplies are available.

Maintain a clean and organized area.

Bag and haul trash to dumpster, and mop kitchen floor at end of events.

Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.

Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.

Actively prepared to assist in side work or other duties as necessary or as assigned.

Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures throughout the execution of tasks and responsibilities.

Sustain the safety of the property though risk-management behavior, proper inspections, participation in Safety and Security Committee and knowledge of emergency procedures.
