Executive Chef Wanted for Upscale Casual Hotel Restaurant

Are you a culinary professional with a passion for crafting unforgettable dining experiences? We are seeking an experienced, creative Executive Chef to lead our kitchen.

Responsibilities:

As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for:

Leading and inspiring a culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences across a three-meal restaurant, lounge, banquet department, and seasonal special events.

Crafting innovative and seasonally inspired menus that align with our upscale casual hotel restaurant concept

Ensuring consistency in food quality, presentation, and taste.

Managing kitchen operations, staff performance and budgeting.

Find efficient ways to cut costs and drive sales

Upholding high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.

Work hand-in-hand with the Kitchen Manager to oversee inventory control and ordering.

Collaborating with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Understanding the relationship between the hotel operations and restaurant operations, and working to achieve the goals of each.

Requirements:

Experience as lead kitchen role

Creative flair and a passion for staying current with culinary trends

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Maintain flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary

High School or GED certificate or completion of technical/vocational program

Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Preferred:

Executive Chef or Sous Chef experience in a similar upscale dining setting

Bi-lingual, English (speak, read, write) and Spanish (speak)
