Job Description
Avila Valley Barn is now taking applications for Farm Tour Tractor Driver! We are nearing fall at Avila Valley Barn where we are transformed into a pumpkin wonderland with 45 types of pumpkins and gourds, caramel apples, apple cider, you-pick pumpkins, fall photo ops and more of the alike.
Tractor drivers are trained to pull our 30 person trailers and give tours of the farm. Weekday drivers will partake in school field trips. We have both positions that go as long as weather permits and through October only.
8 hour shifts between the hours of 9:30 am and 5:30 pm. Weekday and weekend positions available,
Job Requirements:
- Must have a drivers license
- Must be able to lift roughly 50 lbs or less repeatedly
- Must be physically able and enjoy being on your feet
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have am outgoing positive attitude and be self driven
- Must have a friendly personality with a willingness to help customers
Job Duties:
- Welcoming guests
- Fueling tractor and cleaning tractor after day of trips
- Taking tickets and assisting customers loading onto wagon
- Giving tour of farm
- Providing information about you-pick
Compensation: $16.00 hourly plus tips
