Are you passionate about food, safety, and timely deliveries? We’re on the hunt for a Delivery Maestro to join our kitchen crew. As our Food Van Virtuoso, you’ll orchestrate the seamless transport of bulk meals to our dining sites, ensuring they arrive fresh and ready to delight our guests. You will need to be an early bird and be available starting at 5am. We have 9 dining sites. You will be driving one of three routes. We are looking to hire someone ASAP!

Responsibilities:

Showtime Ready: Arrive in style, donning your crisp uniform and practical closed shoes. (We provide the uniform)

Professional Swagger: Maintain your personal appearance like a culinary superstar.

Safety First: Follow food handling procedures (food handlers' card? Check!).

Van Voyage: Commandeer our trusty MTC cargo van, delivering deliciousness across assigned routes.

Route Maestro: Retrieve route sheets, load meals from fridge or freezer, and stack them into the van.

Speedy Serenade: Safely whisk meals to their designated sites within the blink of an eye.

Kitchen Choreographer: Keep our kitchen gear and utensils dancing with cleanliness.

Wrap & Label Wiz: Securely package meals like a pro.

Spotless Swan Song: Bid adieu to your workstation and equipment with a sparkling finish.

Cool, Calm, and Organized: Maintain kitchen, van, storage areas, and coolers in tip-top shape.

Line Cook Liaison: Jam with our cooks when needed.

Precision Perfectionist: Nail timing, health, and cleanliness.

Temperature Tamer: Cook and cool foods just right (Department of Health-approved!).

Menu Maven: Know our offerings like the back of your spatula.

Hygiene Hero: Keep your work area squeaky clean.

Team Player Extraordinaire: Harmonize with fellow kitchen artists.

Ingredient Whisperer: Alert management when we need more supplies.

Product Protector: Report any hiccups with purchased items or kitchen gear.

FIFO Fanatic: Rotate products like a seasoned DJ.

Requirements:

✓ Must be at least 18 years of age

✓ At least 1 year of previous cooking experience is preferred

✓ Must have a current Food Handlers card issued by the State of California

✓ Must have a clean driving record and currently valid CA driver's license

✓ Must have knowledge of kitchen equipment handling procedures

✓ Must have full knowledge of the food menu

✓ Must know the ingredients and methods of preparation of all items served at MTC

✓ Must be able to understand and carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions

✓ Must have multi-tasking abilities

✓ Must be able to work under pressure

✓ Must be a team player

✓ Must have a positive attitude

✓ Bilingual a plus
