Responsibilities for Front Desk Agent
Check guests in and out of their rooms
Answer any questions guests have regarding hotel policies and services
Make recommendations for local activities and restaurants
Take reservations on the phone and in person
Responds to guests wants and requests
Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
Respond to guests’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
Manage online reservations for third party websites
Complete daily light housekeeping duties at the front desk and lobby area
Able to communicate efficiently with other departments such as housekeeping and Maintenance
Active participation in hotel operations
Qualifications for Front Desk Agent
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great interpersonal abilities
Able to prioritize daily tasks and great organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
Time management skills
Detail oriented
Computer experience- Word, Excel
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
