An Avila Beach Hotel is looking for a Guest Service Agent to be a part of our amazing team. We are looking for a Front Desk Agent with the skills and motivation to join our team. Guests come to this romantic, intimate, privately owned, boutique hotel to relax and enjoy the town, the beach, and the hotel. We are looking for people who are friendly and outgoing, with a contagious smile.
Hospitality experience is always a plus, however, not mandatory. We are looking to hire solid employees with open availability.
Duties include:
Prepping daily hors d'oeuvres for guest
Providing guests with assistance, and information in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner
Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, and amenities
Handle guest check ins and check outs appropriately
Take reservation requests efficiently over the phone, through email and in person
Answer telephone in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette
Performing additional duties as required
Host daily guest receptions
