A little about us…
Fresh Paint Co. is seeking a painting apprentice who displays a willingness to learn about professional coatings and the best trade practices. We will teach you how to prep and paint a house, inside and out.
What is an apprenticeship? Simply put, it’s training from the ground up. This means you aren’t expected to know anything about painting when you begin. All you need is a positive attitude and some manual coordination, plus a desire to work hard and learn new skills. We are looking for serious people who are ready to start their career in the trades, this isn't just a job.
To safely and properly work as a painter, you should be able to safely lift a 5-gallon bucket of paint, carry and climb an extension ladder, be on your feet all day, and work outdoors. This is a full time position. Business hours are from 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. You must be committed to the patient work of learning the craft of professional painting. You should also have an appreciation for following instructions and accomplishing tasks by adhering to industry standard procedures. Safety is very important.
We are in San Luis Obispo and cater specifically to SLO clients. You must be willing to commute to SLO everyday. Our culture is mutually supportive, and we maintain a positive, professional, and mature work atmosphere.
