We are seeking a diligent housekeeper for our unique condominium hotel located just steps to the beach. Each unit is individually owned and decorated. There are 56 total units with 31 of them being managed by us. You will work with a team of cleaning professionals and my be assigned different shifts each week. Our ideal housekeeper has a keen eye for detail while handing cleaning duties. Candidates with prior cleaning experience are preferred, but we are willing to train hardworking people who are team players. Must have flexible availability. 30-40 hour weeks.
Job Responsibilities:
-Performs cleaning duties including, but not limited to: changing linens/towels, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, dishes, cleaning appliances, ensuring sofa beds are clean, wiping down patio furniture, making sure units are stocked with necessary supplies, collaborating with the housekeeping team to complete the daily cleaning schedule.
-Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
-Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
-Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
-Reports necessary maintenance items.
-Follows departmental policies and procedures.
-Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
-Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
-Laundry, including pre-treating, washing, drying, folding, and putting away.
-Performs additional duties as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:

-Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
-Ability to communicate concerns or issues with supervisor, maintenance, and front desk staff.

-Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies.
-Able to lift upwards of 25 pounds.
-Time-management skills.
Education/Experience:
-High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
-Previous housekeeping experience a plus.
-Valid driver's license and/or proof of residency.
