Bang the Drum is hiring!
We are looking for an experienced cook for the kitchen at Bang the Drum.
$18 per hour plus tips
Part time 30 hours per week
Shifts Needed
Five shifts per week: two opening and three closing
Wednesday - Sunday
Closing Shifts: 5 PM - CLOSE (10 PM - Midnight depending on day or event)
Opening Shifts: OPEN (10:45 AM or 11:45 AM) - 5 PM

We are specifically looking to bring on someone who is hard-working and is excited to be a part of our small team.
Job Requirements:
Food handlers certificate
At least one year of cooking experience
A knowledge of basic cooking techniques
Self-motivation to complete daily tasks
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment during rushes
Time management skills to deliver orders on schedule and avoiding wasting food
Attention to detail to produce consistent, high-quality and attractive food
Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team
The ability to lift 30-50 pounds at a time
Physical strength and stamina to spend long hours standing and performing repetitive motions
Flexibility, since hours may vary and include weekends, evenings and holidays
Job Duties:
Complete daily checklists
Prep for busy events
Safely use an oven and multitask during food service
Prep food; including cleaning/cutting/labeling the ingredients
Cook food according to the recipe
Plate prepared foods based on training
Work with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
Clean your utensils and station throughout, and at the end of your shift
Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
Implement food and safety procedures in accordance to Health Department
Ensure quality and consistent food
Communicate well with other staff members
