We are currently interviewing for breakfast and lunch/dinner Line Cooks. Looking to hire asap.
Our Line Cooks will set up their workstations with required mise en place and tools according to our standards. You will prepare menu items for the Café and private events. Following recipes, preparing food from build sheets for consistency, and proper plate presentation is a must. You will maintain the organization, cleanliness and sanitation of your work areas and equipment.
This is a great opportunity for line cooks that are ready for a better work/life balance. Hours of operation are 8am to 8pm, and even shorter hours on Saturday, so no more late nights! We are a Chef driven Café and look forward to you helping us take our place to new heights. Full time and part time available. Full time includes A GREAT MEDICAL, DENTAL AND VISION INSURANCE PLAN, PAID VACATION AND PAID HOLIDAYS.
Our Café is a team environment and all skill levels are present¦teamwork is a must. Big egos need not apply. Our goal is to provide great food and service, and exceed expectations while still having fun at work!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years restaurant BOH experience
Two years experience in a food preparation position
Ability to read, write and communicate in English with co-workers, management and guests
Food Handler Certification (within 30 days of hire)
Must be able to pass drug test and background check
