What you will do:
Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner, checking them in the hotel following established procedures, informing guests of pertinent hotel policies, and directing them to rooms and common areas. Respond to guest questions in a courteous and professional manner; possess and maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel and area attractions to fulfill the guests’ needs ensuring their stay is as pleasurable as possible. Assist with dining, entertainment, or transportation reservations and provide directions to shopping, dining, entertainment. Fulfill the guest’ needs ensuring their stay is as pleasurable as possible. Resolve guest concerns using good judgement to ensure the highest guest satisfaction. Promptly answer internal and external hotel phone calls providing information and taking messages as needed. Make and confirm future guest stay reservations following established procedures including assuring room availability, obtaining necessary guest and payment information, ensuring that the guest understands all hotel policies regarding reservation cancellation and pets. Check guests out following established procedures including computing bills, collecting payment, and providing guest with the necessary paperwork. Maintain the front desk area in a clean and orderly fashion. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork; maintain files and records orderly and perform other clerical duties as required including filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
