Part-Time WEEKEND Tasting Room and Café Associate
Who we are:
Named as one of the 11 Best Wineries in the World by Men’s Journal, the 6th Winery Restaurant in the Nation by USA Today, and two-time Central Coast Winery of the Year recipient, Cass Winery, is a boutique producer located on the east side of Paso Robles. Our tasting room and café is open daily from 11:00am – 5:00pm and features our award-winning, 100% estate wines and farm-to-table fresh fare.

Who we are looking to add to our Tasting Room “family”:
Our Cafe' Servers are our Wine Attendants and vice versa. This is a unique, dual role and requires the right individual to embody this special experience. A minimum of 1-year of table side food service experience is REQUIRED and wine experience is definitely appreciated! An appreciation for wine, however, is a MUST!
Our candidate is warm, engaging, guest focused, self-starting and a motivated individual with a heart for people and a desire to learn about and share about great food and wine!
Our team works well as a collaborative unit and our ideal candidate is, likewise, team-focused and team-oriented!
A friendly, positive, professional demeanor is a MUST!
Saturdays and Sundays are BUSY, and we need WEEKEND WARRIORS who are not afraid to jump into our fast-paced environment, to help us to create great memories for our guests! There is potential opportunity for additional, weekday shifts for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Tableside service – café and wine
Opening, closing, and side work duties
Stocking, cleaning, running food, clearing tables
Operation of a POS system and cash handling with attention to detail
Wine sales and Wine Club sign-ups
Additional Qualifications:
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY! If you cannot work weekends, please do not apply!
MUST BE 21 OR OLDER
Must be willing and able to wear a mask at all times during your 6-8 hour serving shift
Must be willing and able to follow all CA Department of Health COVID-19 Dine-In Restaurant Guidelines
Must be able to be stand and to be on your feet for an extended period of time
Must to able walk up to 6 miles in a given shift (all service areas are in the beautiful outdoors and this requires quite a bit of walking!)
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Current food handler card (or willing to obtain within first 30 days of employment) is a must
