Vineyard Hills Health Center located in Templeton is seeking a dietary aide to join our dynamic kitchen team!
We are looking for a team-player who can work at a fast pace facility located in Templeton.
Schedule: Part time/ Per Diem
Vineyard Hills Health Center, a Compass Health, Inc. skilled nursing facility, is hiring for Dietary Aide.
Duties:
Assist cook in the prep and serving of meals.
Prep coffee, salads, desserts and hot/cold food items as directed.
Assist with meal service and the delivery of plates to the resident tables.
Inventory stocking and storage organization.
Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to keep kitchen area and equipment sanitized and sterile.
Dishwashing
Emptying of waste containers.
Attend staff and in-service meetings.
Performs other duties as necessary or assigned.
This is a Part time or Per Diem position with possibility to become full time.
Requirements
- Interest and ability to work with geriatric and disabled people
- Good team spirit and flexibility
- Organization
- Good verbal skills in English
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- This position involves standing for long periods of time, lifting, bending & twisting
