I’m looking to hire a personal care assistant to help me part time in the weekday mornings. My preferred times are from 8AM to 11AM on Mon/Weds/Thurs and 8AM to 1PM on Tues/Fri but hours are flexible for the right person! (19 hours a week)
As I am quadriplegic from a spinal cord injury, I will need assistance with the following:
range of motion
bowel program
urinary catheter care
turning in bed
getting dressed
wheelchair transfers from bed
personal hygiene (toothbrushing, shaving, showering etc.)
housework (cleaning, mopping, dusting etc.)
You are required to:
have some type of caregiving experience (raising childrens, caring for elderly, nursing etc.)
arrive on time
be able to perform physically demanding tasks
be able to lift 50 pounds
be detail oriented and self-motivated
have critical thinking skills
learn quickly from any mistakes
adapt to different situations
Compensation:
$30/hour after one-week training but $20/hour during traning
