The Medical Laboratory Courier provides daily driving support service coverage for the company. Job duties include maintaining a professional appearance while providing high-quality customer service to each office and clinic where medical biopsy specimens are received.
Requirements:
Possess a high level of attention to detail with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Safe Driving record per DMV
Supervision Received:
Direct supervision from Logistics Director
Courier Responsibilities:
Ensure driving/road safety practices.
Specimen pick-up in provider/facility offices.
Material returns to provider/facility offices.
Material pick-ups from partner laboratory(s).
Material delivery to WPI pathologist/staff.
Maintenance of accurate specimen accountability logs.
Working Environment:
The position is in and out of an office/laboratory setting with the majority of time spent driving. Minimal exposure to various chemicals cannot be avoided.
Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting of objects weighing 30 lb. or less
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Compensation DOE: $17-20 per hour
