Responsibilities

Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care, including prenatal, delivery, and postnatal services.

Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations to assess patient health.

Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including suturing and minimally invasive techniques.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients.

Manage acute pain effectively and provide education on family planning and reproductive health.

Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient interactions accurately.

Engage in clinical research initiatives to advance knowledge in obstetrics and gynecology.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

Advanced degree (PA or NP) with experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology and/or Hormone Replacement Therapy.

Proficiency in EMR systems such as Nextgen for efficient patient management.

Experience with critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine is highly desirable.

Familiarity with medical coding standards including ICD-9 and ICD-10 for accurate documentation.

Strong skills in patient assessment, including vital signs monitoring and physical examinations.

Experience working with diverse populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and those requiring hospice or palliative care.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health management.
