Job Summary: As a Construction Laborer at Central Coast Renovations, you will assist in various construction tasks to support our skilled tradespeople and project manager. This role involves physical labor, the use of hand and power tools, and working in various weather conditions. The ideal candidate is reliable, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites
Load and unload materials and equipment
Operate hand and power tools as required
Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople
Measure, cut, and shape materials (wood, drywall, etc.) as directed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Reliable transportation to various job sites
A valid driver’s license
