Our family owned business is looking to hire a full time (30-40 hours per week) electrical journeyman to work with the owner. Must have Journeyman card or extensive work history to qualify. We specialize in residential and commercial work.
We are hoping to have someone to start asap. Pay depends on experience but willing to compensate the right employee well!
Qualifications necessary for the position include:
- Must have reputable references for electrical experience (residential, commercial or industrial)
- Must be able to produce clean, organized work
- Willingness to commute to jobs around the county
- Your own basic hand tools for electrical
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Proficient in electrical systems, including knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
