Job Description:
As a Landscaper/Gardener, you will help with the installation and maintenance of gardens and landscapes. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is eager to learn new skills in the landscaping field. You will assist with a variety of tasks, from planting and pruning to lawn care and seasonal maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planting, mulching, trimming, and maintaining gardens and lawns
- Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and fertilizing
- Help with irrigation systems and ensure they are functioning properly
- Assist in landscape design installations (hardscaping and softscaping)
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order
- Follow safety protocols and company guidelines while working on site
- Communicate with team members and clients to ensure the highest quality service
Qualifications:
- 0-5 years of experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field (no experience required, training will be provided)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for landscaping
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation to company meeting site
