Live in Housekeeper & all Around Assistant.
Life time local San Luis Obispo family of two with extended family in SLO seeking a special person to live at the property in a private one bedroom furnished guest apartment in exchange for household duties, plus compensation depending on the agreed arrangement and hours worked. The person should have multitasking skills, be trustworthy, honest, organized, dependable, caring and respectful of family privacy. We are easy going and flexible with the days of week and hours worked. Not sure what an arrangement would look like but ideally this person would live onsite and provide household chores as well as caring for the property and pets when we frequently travel.
Types of duties could include the following but a final arrangement would be mutually agreed upon. Since this is concept new to us we would need to fashion a program that best suits the applicant and our family lifestyle. We are open to considering full time or part time with a minimum of 15 – 25 hours weekly. Days of week and hours would depend on the applicants situation, abilities and the families schedule.
Examples of weekly Job Duties
-Organizing
- Dusting furniture and fixtures
-Vacuuming and cleaning floors
- Washing & changing linens
-Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
- Vacuuming/Dusting
- laundry and clothing care
- Ironing clothing
- Emptying trash
- Dusting
- Cleaning exterior entry and entry walks
Occasional duties as Needed
-Help with kitchen cleanup after large family weekly meals
- light gardening, a green thumb is a plus
- Patio area organizing & cleanup
- Preparing occasion meals
- Washing windows
Previous experience preferred, Background History and references required, compensation to be based on experience, with a portion of compensation offset for the provided housing.
