Job Duties for Machine Operator | Manufacturing position:
Operate/monitor injection, compression molding, and thermal processing equipment while maintaining quality standards
Load materials, adjust machine settings, and conduct post-shift cleaning following 5s methodology
Inspect products for defects (short shots, splay, deformation) and verify measurements
Document production output accurately and complete all required paperwork
Report quality issues, equipment defects, safety concerns, or unsafe acts to leadership
Maintain workspace organization and ensure parts are stored in sealed containers post-shift
Communicate process details to replacement operators during shift changes
Assist leads with production area setup and second operations (drilling, sandblasting, welding)
Operate injection and compression molding machines plus secondary equipment like drills, sandblasters, files, cutters, and sonic welders
Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Machine Operator | Manufacturing position:
High school diploma or equivalent
No experience needed - training provided!
Wear PPE as required
Clear English reading and writing skills with basic math proficiency (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, percentages, and graph interpretation)
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a strong willingness to learn
Required vision abilities include close vision and depth perception
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, and reach
