Farm Team Member - Morro Bay Oyster Company
We’re seeking a positive, reliable, and motivated individual to join our team at Morro Bay Oyster Company, working on our scenic farm in the Morro Bay Estuary. No prior oyster farming experience is required—just a strong work ethic and a passion for outdoor work.
Responsibilities:
-Pack and ship orders
-Monitor and report tank conditions
-Take short boat trips to our estuary farm
-Work in and out of the water (wetsuits provided) or on a work platform
-Plant and care for oyster seed, harvest, pack, and ship mature oysters
-Maintain and repair gear, and operate equipment to sort, wash, and move oysters
We provide all necessary work attire, including wetsuits, gloves, boots, and slickers. New hires will receive training to perform all tasks effectively.
Reliable personal vehicle to travel to various work locations
Ability to lift 75+ pounds
Ability to swim
