Primary Responsibilities:
- Driving to deliveries and delivering 40lb bags of salt. Carrying salt to the desired location.
- Using forklift to load delivery truck and unloading semi-trailer trucks for company’s salt supply
- Managing and organizing warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision.
- Shipping and receiving.
- Managing inventory
- Communicating with office and technicians regularly
- Other small duties will be required throughout the work week.
Skill Requirements
- Strong sense of customer service.
- Clean driving record. Must pass insurance driving requirements.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs on a daily basis.
- Experience in warehouse procedures and best practices preferred but not required.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills necessary.
- Previous forklift experience and driving large trucks a plus, but not necessary.
Work Environment
- The salt delivery driver works in the warehouse & outside deliveries from 8:30 - 5:00 M-F
- Works well with others, team player attitude
- Works well in a high energy office with dynamic processes due to the nature of the business
