Workshop Assistant – Automotive / Welding / Fabrication
(Atascadero – Part Time, Flexible Hours)
Here at Bens Automotive Decor we are a small but growing automotive art and furniture business looking for a motivated, reliable person to join our team in the workshop. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves cars, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to learn valuable skills in welding, fabrication, and engine disassembly.
What you’ll do:
Assist with workshop production (welding, grinding, fabrication, painting, polishing).
Help disassemble engines and automotive components.
Perform general workshop tasks (cleaning, organizing, prepping materials).
Support in creating unique, custom-built pieces of automotive art and furniture.
What we’re looking for:
Strong work ethic, reliable, and motivated to learn.
Interest in cars, engines, or fabrication work.
Willingness to be trained – experience is helpful but not required.
Welding or fabrication experience is a plus, but the right attitude is more important.
Ability to follow directions and work safely in a workshop environment.
Details:
Part time: 10–20 hours per week.
Flexible schedule.
