We are a small, experienced team with a reputation for quality, integrity, and craftsmanship. We’re growing and looking for a skilled CNC Machinist & Setup Specialist who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a stable, long-term team here on the Central Coast.
What You’ll Do
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (Haas)
Perform tool changes, offsets, work holding, and setups independently
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
Work from GibbsCAM programs and make minor program edits
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools
Maintain high-quality standards for tight-tolerance parts
Collaborate with team members to improve setups and machining efficiency
Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area
What You Bring
✅ 3+ years of CNC machining & setup experience
✅ Experience running Haas controls
✅ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
✅ Strong understanding of tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining fundamentals
✅ Hands-on problem solver who can work independently
✅ Quality-minded with strong attention to detail
Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required)
Experience using GibbsCAM
Background machining medical or defense parts
Prototype and small-run precision machining experience
Knowledge of process improvement or lean manufacturing
Schedule & Pay
Day shift with flexible start time
Full-time, hourly position
$30–$50 per hour, depending on experience
