The inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring optimal stock levels and supporting efficient warehouse and supply chain operations. This key role plays a part in minimizing inventory discrepancies and ensuring timely availability of products and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
-Monitor & maintain accurate inventory records using an inventory management system.
-Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
-Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
-Receive, label and store incoming shipments according to company procedures.
-Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse and production teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
-Track inventory levels & reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages or overstock.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma/or equivalent, associates degree or certification in logistics or supply chain preferred.
-Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse or related field.
-Familiarity with inventory software.
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Ability to lift and move heavy items and operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jacks).
-Experience with barcode and knowledge of lean inventory systems (preferred)
-Basic math & computer skills
