Gateworks Corporation is currently looking for a smart, motivated Mechanical Assembler to assist in the assembly of embedded computer systems, preparing printed circuit board assemblies and other components for installation in final products.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Previewing assembly sample and job specifications to determine assembly procedures;
Assembling of mechanical components;
Installing printed circuit boards assemblies;
Positioning and fastening parts or electronic components using hand tools, power tools and/or soldering tools following prescribed assembly methods;
Occasionally handle materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
Use of hand tools may include pliers, wire cutters, wire strippers, screwdrivers, soldering iron, crimpers, electric drills etc. May perform finishing task such as filing, scraping, drilling, and grinding of mechanical components.
This is an entry level position, no prior experience is necessary as there will be on-the-job training provided. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and basic math and computer skills.
