Job Description
We are a fast-growing brand in the aftermarket automotive world and are seeking a motivated Packaging Tech to support
the assembly and packaging of finished goods here at Synergy. This is a crucial role responsible for preparing product,
operating various pieces of assembly equipment, and participating in the assembly and finish packing of many different
products on the Packaging Line.
Responsibilities
Pick materials and components from warehouse stock to prepare Packaging Jobs
Review Work Orders to understand the operations and materials required to complete each job
Assemble various products by utilizing hand tools, power tools, and some specialized equipment
Operate hydraulic press to insert press-fit bushings and bearings into various assemblies
Bag and seal various hardware and small component kits
Pick packaging materials and prepare boxes using staple guns and automatic tape dispensers
Participate in inventory movement and restocking of certain items
Work seamlessly in a team environment producing up to 800 parts per day
Required Skills and Experience
Able to clearly communicate and learn new concepts
Proficient with simple measuring tools – Must be able to read fractions on a tape measure
Proficient with hand tools (wrenches, drill, etc.) and packaging tools (staple gun, tape gun, etc.)
Able to understand and follow oral or written work instructions
Able to use email and basic digital communication
Able to stand and walk throughout the scheduled 8-hour work shift
Able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. on a continuous basis throughout the work day
Able to perform repetitive motions throughout scheduled 8-hour shift
High attention to detail
Preferred Skills and Experience
1+ years’ experience in manufacturing, packaging, assembly, or other related industrial operations
Forklift Certification and operation
Proficient with reading engineering drawings to understand crucial dimensions of parts being packaged
Familiarity with ERP or MRP software as it pertains to Work Orders and Inventory
