Production Operators needed
Openings on the first and second shifts
4/10 work week. hours on Monday through Thursday so you get Friday Saturday and Sunday off!
Pay range is $22-25/ hr depending on relevant experience
The Production/ Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the smooth production of goods. This role requires the ability to monitor machine functions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality output in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate various machines and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Set up machines and ensure they are ready for production.
Monitor machine operations to ensure they are running smoothly and producing quality output.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machines.
Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve any machine malfunctions or issues during production.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Keep accurate records of production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or training is a plus).
Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong understanding of machine operations and maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculations.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (when necessary).
Willingness to work both day and afternoon shifts is a big plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (depending on the role).
