Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Lead to guide our quality team and drive compliance with ISO and AS9100 standards in aerospace grade plastic molding. This role is responsible for managing quality systems, leading inspections, overseeing supplier quality, and championing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Control Lead, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our aerospace-grade plastic molding processes meet the highest standards of precision and compliance. In this role, you will oversee inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods, using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. You’ll evaluate molded parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and overall conformance to specifications, while monitoring molding processes to quickly identify and report any deviations from documented work instructions or control plans.
You’ll also be responsible for documenting inspection and test results, maintaining detailed quality records, and supporting root cause analysis for nonconforming products. Partnering closely with production teams, you will help implement and sustain corrective actions, verify compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and contribute to audits, process validations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position works collaboratively across departments, assisting the Quality Control Lead and Quality Assurance Manager in investigations, and driving corrective and preventive actions that eliminate recurring issues. Beyond technical oversight, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to identify opportunities for process efficiency and quality enhancement.
Above all, you’ll ensure that quality, safety, and ethical standards remain at the forefront of our operations, while taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support the success of the team and the company.
