Assistant Manager / Clothing Buyer
We are looking for a dedicated, full-time Assistant Retail Manager to help lead store operations and support our growing team. The ideal candidate is an organized and enthusiastic individual who is seeking a consistent, reliable work schedule with room to advance.
You will assist in overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, supporting staff, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. This role requires availability for evening and weekend shifts as part of your regular schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and assist with daily store operations and workflow
Tag, sort, and organize merchandise
Perform data entry and pricing for incoming merchandise
Assist in managing and creating team schedules
Train and mentor associates on store operations, products, and procedures
Stay up to date on current fashion trends, brands, and price points
Foster a welcoming, high-energy work environment
Deliver and model exceptional customer service
Proactively resolve customer issues and handle conflicts with professionalism
Motivate and lead by example to create a positive and collaborative team culture
What We’re Looking For
Passionate about secondhand fashion and sustainability
Proven leadership or management experience in retail or a similar fast-paced environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Self-motivated, dependable, and trustworthy
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and team-building abilities
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as required
Minimum of 2 years relevant retail or leadership experience
Candidates seeking a full-time position (35+ hours/week)—students or seasonal applicants will not be considered for this role
