We're hiring a Shredder-Style - Videographer/Video Editor
Reports To: Restaurant Manager/Owner
Schedule: Must be flexible based on content demands. Schedule will be determined week by week. Primary hours of operation are Thursday through Monday 11:30 AM - 9:00 PM and often we will use days were closed, Tuesday/Wednesdays, to pre-film or stack on filming content.

An intimate restaurant on the edge of downtown San Luis Obispo equipped with a full bar specializing in classics and California-focused wine list, Nate's on Marsh set out to share the ultimate in Central Coast hospitality with only the best comforting dishes worth craving.

If your timeline looks like a cyclone of cuts, glitches, speed ramps, and buttery-smooth transitions, keep reading. Nate’s on Marsh is leveling up our content game, and we’re hunting for an editor who can make our food, team, and brand look as exciting as it tastes.
We’re not looking for a “trim clips and export” editor. We’re looking for a visual maniac with taste… and tastebuds.

Scrolls TikTok not for entertainment, but for inspiration ammunition
Believe that a 12-second reel can change the fate of any project
You’re creative, quick, and obsessed with making things pop, smack, sizzle, and hit.
What You’ll Make:
Short-form vertical content (10–30 seconds) that:
o Punches through the algorithm
o Makes people hungry just from the transitions
o Captures the energy of the Nate’s on Marsh experience
o Turns tables, tells stories, and builds a culinary cult
o Think: high-tempo edits, tasteful chaos, “wait, run that back” moments
Responsibilities
Turning raw footage into scroll-stopping shred-style bangers
Sync cuts to music with freakish precision
Use effects (glitch, stutter, motion overlays, speed ramps, flash frames) to amplify energy
Collaborate with our brand team to build a consistent, and unmistakable, visual identity
Deliver quick turnarounds (we love momentum)
o For most projects, if we film today, we would want edits tomorrow.

Requirements
Portfolio of shred-style edits (non-negotiable, show us your flair)
Experience in Premiere, Final Cut, AfterEffects or DaVinci
Strong sense of rhythm, motion, and texture
Comfort with fast-paced iteration and experimentation
