Job Position: DOG Grooming Technician Asst. (Part-Time 2035 hours/weekly)
Criteria:
No experience required but must be willing to learn and be self-motivated.
Must be able to handle large dogs.
Working dates: Flexible schedule Monday - Saturday
Job Description: Wash/dry/brush dogs and help support with Cats
Clean cages/tubs, vacuum mop floor, and clean mirrors and outside surrounding the salon.
Help with all activities; Self-serve, Nail clinic, Holiday and Salon events, etc.
Pay: $17-$19 per hour DOE
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Must be comfortable working with a wide variety of animals including small and large dogs, Cats a PLUS!
Must be able to work around pet hair and dander
Must be 18 years or older
At least 3 months of pet bathing or grooming experience preferred (will train)
Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Passion for dog bathing and the well-being of pets
Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require evening and weekend shifts
Time management: Must be on time!
Ability to clean and stock work area
Bath animals and provide other services as directed by groomer
Use good judgment and alert groomer of any anomalies that a dog may have
Provide guests with an exceptional experience
Always provide all pet guests with kindness and respect
Speak authentically about products and services offered
Willing to work in a fast paced environment and not afraid of hard work.
