First Call Plumbing (a subsidiary of Central Coast Casualty Restoration, Inc.) is seeking motivated and career minded plumber.
Candidates must be coachable, able to manage their time and tasks, and possess a straightforward understanding of the plumbing and construction processes. Looking for an experienced, honest, professional, reliable, hard-working person that works well within a team and brings a positive can-do attitude
Candidates must possess the following:
A valid/clean DMV and a clear background check.
Verifiable proof of eligibility to work.
Able to speak, write, and comprehend English.
Knowledge and experience in general plumbing (Duties include but not limited to: setting all types of plumbing finish, installing water heaters and appliances, pex, copper and waste lines. Ideally worker will have experience or at least knowledge of other trades (ie: demolition, drywall installation, tape and texture, painting, cabinetry removal and installation and finish carpentry) as plumbing work is not always consistent on a day to day basis.
Be self-starter who is able to stay on task and work with limited supervision
Be prompt with reliable attendance.
Be able to follow instruction, take direction and effectively communicate with foreman or supervisor.
Be able to work while standing for several hours on a daily basis.
Be able to lift 45+ lbs, alone and up to 70 pounds with assistance.
Be physically capable of climbing up and down ladders throughout work-shift.
Be able to use measuring devices accurately and have working knowledge of power tools and their safe operation.
Support, maintain, and enforce job site safety and security for homeowners, coworkers, subcontractors and vendors.
Maintain and enforce company policy.
