Seeking an individual for technical work in the fireplace industry. Requires problem solving abilities as well as mechanical aptitude. With training will learn to diagnose and solve issues on gas, wood and pellet products.
Ideal candidate will be responsible, timely, professional and enjoy working with people. Pleasant personality and patient demeanor is helpful. Good communication is essential in writing and speaking.
This is a full time position, 40 hours per week. Business hours are 7:30 - 4:30, Monday through Friday.
Specific duties may include measuring fireplace dimensions, following detailed instruction manual and work orders, installing glass doors and screens and developing product knowledge.
Requires physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs, use diagnostic and power tools and occasional work on a ladder. Valid driver's license required. Zero tolerance for drug or alcohol use while on the job.
