Floral Shop Delivery Driver & Shop Assistant
Our floral shop is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Floral Shop Delivery Driver and Shop Assistant. This role is critical in ensuring the timely delivery of floral arrangements to our customers while also maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our store. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in providing excellent customer service, has a clean driving record, and can handle various clean up and organizational tasks within the store.
Responsibilities:
Delivery Duties:
Safely transport floral arrangements to various locations, ensuring timely and undamaged delivery.
Represent the shop professionally and courteously in all customer interactions during deliveries.
Implement delivery routes efficiently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and customer floral delivery requests.
Load and unload floral arrangements with care, ensuring products are secured during transport.
Prepare foam, sandbags, towels, etc for delivery.
Handle minor repairs and maintenance tasks within the delivery van to ensure a safe and attractive delivery experience.
Store Maintenance:
Perform daily cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting, to keep the store presentable.
Clean and sanitize floral buckets
Organize labels for deliver and/or store pricing and branding
Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with shop practices.
Inventory and Supplies:
Assist in receiving and stocking inventory, including supplies and floral products.
Keep the delivery vehicle clean and conduct regular visual inspection to ensure it is in good working condition.
Qualifications
Experience:
Previous experience in delivery driving and customer service is advantageous.
Licenses and Skills:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and driving for extended periods.
Availability:
Flexibility to work various shifts, including an average schedule of 11-4, and holidays, as required by delivery schedules and store operating hours.

Shifts: Our available shifts are typically 4–6 hours per day, five days a week, M – F. Shifts are typically late morning to afternoon. There are more hours during seasonal holidays.
Compensation is $16.00 - $18.00/hour.
