We are a grading and excavation contracting company based in southern San Luis Obispo County seeking a heavy equipment operator to join our team, Full-time or Part-time.
We are looking for someone with a solid work ethic, a willingness to learn new skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, a valid Commercial Driver’s License, and experience working with heavy equipment.
Duties include trenching, backfilling, site clean-up, and working with wide a range of tools and materials. Prior experience with heavy equipment, power tools, farm equipment etc. is desirable.
Job Requirements:
- Operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and excavators.
- Valid CDL with clean record
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail and safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment.
- Maintaining accurate delivery and equipment logs
