Description We are offering an employment opportunity for a Scheduler, focusing primarily on fleet services within the interior design and staging industry. This role is situated in South Gate, California. As a Scheduler, your main responsibilities will include managing fleet operations, coordinating delivery and pick-up of materials, and ensuring efficient workflows.Responsibilities Coordinating daily schedules for fleet drivers and staging crews to ensure punctual deliveries, pickups, and installations. Assigning and dispatching vehicles and drivers based on job priorities, delivery timelines, and route optimization. Serving as the key liaison between fleet drivers, warehouse staff, and design teams to streamline logistics. Communicating updates and resolving scheduling conflicts promptly, ensuring all parties are informed of changes or delays. Optimizing routes and delivery schedules to maximize fleet efficiency and minimize delays. Monitoring fleet movements and providing support to ensure schedules are adhered to. Maintaining accurate records of fleet schedules, job assignments, and delivery logs. Tracking vehicle usage, mileage, and maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with company policies. Anticipating and addressing logistical challenges, such as last-minute schedule changes, vehicle breakdowns, or unforeseen delays. Collaborating with internal teams to troubleshoot and implement solutions in real-time. Assisting in coordinating routine maintenance and inspections for fleet vehicles to minimize downtime. Ensuring all vehicles are stocked with necessary tools and materials for staging jobs.Requirements Proven experience in scheduling or dispatching is essential. Proficiency in delivery schedule management is required. Must possess excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients. Demonstrated ability to problem solve and adapt to changing schedules. High attention to detail. Proficiency in using scheduling software and tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience in logistics or supply chain management would be advantageous. Strong analytical skills to optimize delivery routes and schedules. A team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
