Description We are seeking a Corporate Paralegal with strong transactional experience in commercial real estate and retail leasing to join our client’s dynamic legal team. This role will be fully onsite and requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, assisting attorneys with lease negotiations, contract management, and due diligence for real estate transactions.Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and manage commercial real estate documents, including retail leases, amendments, and subleases.
Conduct title and survey reviews, coordinate lease abstracts, and maintain lease tracking databases.
Assist with due diligence for acquisitions, dispositions, and lease negotiations.
Prepare closing checklists and organize closing documentation for real estate transactions.
Work closely with landlords, tenants, brokers, and outside counsel to facilitate lease agreements.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements, including entity formations and filings.
Support attorneys with document preparation, contract management, and legal research.
Maintain legal files, organize corporate records, and handle administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of paralegal experience with a focus on commercial real estate and retail leases.
Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
Strong knowledge of real estate contracts, leasing agreements, and corporate governance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred.
